Valour-IT (along with many other charities) has been struggling to raise funds this spring. January through March are usually tough times for charities, but the need keeps coming. We are planning a big fundraiser for this summer, but in the meantime here's how you can help:
How to Help Project Valour-IT:
- Donate here (ask if your employer provides matching funds)
- Send the Valour-IT official website link to friends and family
- Blog about it, and ask your fellow bloggers to do the same
- Contact your local TV, newspapers, and radio stations with information about Valour-IT (Watch this site for press releases, etc. Get tips here.)
- Organize a church, school or youth group fundraiser
- Ask if you can put up a flyer at your work, place of worship, and club or community organization (or give a presentation, if that's your skill--email for materials)
- PLEASE contact us if you want to approach a major media outlet/figure or a large company, so that we don't overwhelm anyone with multiple pitches.
- See if your company's IT department would like to donate old laptops to Valour-IT--it's tax-deductible (contact us us first to make sure any computer donation is compatible with the voice-controlled software)
